The Pink Dress, The Red High Heels…

with 4 comments

…Together, In Gorgeous Harmony!

Recently, Priscilla of Boston launched their 2010 Spring line.  Down the runway walked a model wearing a pale pink dress paired with sexy red shoes.  Ever since, I’ve been totally inspired by this color combo, so I thought I’d bring it your way…

You don’t need to wait for Valentine’s Day to flaunt pink and red, my dearies.  The two colors make a sexy combo any day of the year, if you ask me!  What do you think?  Would you have your bridesmaids walk down in pink and red for your non-Valentine’s Day wedding?

Bathing Beauties, Get Frosted!

with 4 comments

…With Cupcake Bath Bomb Favors By Bubbles & Beauties!

This past weekend, my sister and I hosted a bridal shower for our little sister.  Now that it’s over, I can’t wait to start sharing all of the details with you!

To begin my happy little week of show and tell, allow me to first share with you the super sweet shower favors…each guest received a  Cupcake Bath Bomb from Bubbles & Beauties!

(Photo from the shower, thanks to Denise Johnson of Bellis Studios)

Nikol Johnson, creator and founder of Bubbles & Beauties, is seriously just as sweet as her cupcakes!  She actually customized each one for us, in the bridal shower colors and also in my sister’s favorite Pink Sugar scent.  She really made them so special, I can’t thank her enough!

When we received our shipment of cupcake bath bombs, they smelled soooo good, but since they looked like actual real cupcakes, I wanted to eat one!  Fear not my fine feathered friends, I refrained from eating the favors.  I was so happy with the great quality though, not to mention the ingredients ~ including mango butter, almond oil, French clay and natural salts.  Yes, it sounded quite heavenly!

(Photo credits from the shower:  Left ~ Denise Johnson of Bellis Studios.  Right ~ by yours truly!)

I knew I had a couple “regrets” as rsvp’s, so I was sneaky (ssshh) and took one of the favors into the tub with me, tried it and experienced my own soothing bath – which after all the planning, was definitely in order!  Aaahh yes…life was good.  Hey, a girl’s gotta pamper herself once in a while, right?

These cupcake bath bombs were a huge hit at the shower.  Everyone loved them!  I’m very pleased we decided to give them out.  If you’re looking for bridal shower favors sure to impress, these definitely did the job.  Actually, I think these would also make luscious little bridesmaids gifts as well- or a great gift for any occasion, for that matter!

They come hand-made in several different colors and scents, all ready to spoil you!  A few of my personal favorites aside from the Pink Sugar include Fresh Lavender, Lime Cooler, Apple Mango, Chocolate Indulgence, Honey Almond, Strawberries & Champagne, Lemongrass & Sage and Coconut & Cream.  But they’re all so tempting!

To get frosted, click HERE or on banner above.  Also, be sure to head on over to their sister sites ~ Fresh Beauty Studio, A Pretty Event and Fresh Beauty & The Baby.

Keep checking back, I’ll be posting more pictures and details from the bridal shower this week…yay!

Boo-Boo Kisses For Bridesmaids…

with 4 comments

…Heels Are Hot, Ouches Are Not!

More often than not, wearing a hot pair of heels for the first time can become very painful…especially when you’re in them all day and night!  I’ve recently come up with ideas on how to help prevent this pain, however it’s always nice to have a back up plan

Hugs & Kisses Bandages:

Include these with your bridesmaid or flower girl gifts for a little added comfort in case those annoying blisters do happen.  Ouch!  Find these and more at Creative Bride.  Kiss their boo-boos goodbye, Dr. Bride!
