Stay tuned for a few of my favorite places around Chicago that provide the look so you don’t have to. Simple as pie, darlin’! Oh dear, now I want pie…ok, maybe chocolate will do.
…For The Bride-To-Be!
Sure, these Love Letter Panties would make a great gift idea for Valentine’s Day, but what a better occasion to give than a bachelorette party for the bride? Let her write in her own words a little note for her husband-to-be, to flaunt during her honeymoon or wedding night…
I adore the packaging it comes in and the idea behind it…allowing the bride to personalize her own little naughty message!
How easy it would be to pick up a few different pairs from another store to add to this set, allowing her to write several different love notes?
Or, just head over to your local craft store and pickup a fabric marker. You could even use this idea to allow each bridesmaid to write their own funny saying on different pairs for the bride-to-be. How creative are you feeling? I won’t tell. Get this set now by visiting www.bestowboutique.com!

Why Not Make This As Your Signature Wedding Drink?
While visiting in Wisconsin, the week before my brother-in-law’s wedding, we all went out to dinner at this place called O’Charley’s. I thought it would be fun to share a cocktail with my awesome soon-to-be sister-in-law, so she told me about one of her favorite drinks there – the Cotton Candy Cosmo!
Her and I are a lot alike, I also love cosmopolitans! However, this wasn’t your typical cosmo. Basically, they serve you a martini glass with cotton candy inside. As they pour the cosmopolitan mix over the cotton candy, it dissolves and creates a truly delicious cocktail!
Here’s a picture of it at our table, in action as the waitress poured this pretty little drink:
Since it was such a yummy martini, I only had one…I didn’t want to get too tipsy! It got me thinking though – what a fun cocktail this would be to serve at a wedding! Since we all know how strong martinis can be, maybe it would be best to just serve one round to adult guests, as a pretty presentation during dessert.
If you love this idea and crave the recipe, here it is. Just take the following ingredients, shake, pour over cotton candy and enjoy:
1 -1/2 oz SKYY Vodka
1/2 oz XR Fusion Liquor
1 oz Cranberry Juice
Want to try it first? Find one near you by visiting the O’Charley’s website. Of course, please drink responsibly. Cheers!
Now That’s Creative.
Is this not one of the coolest guest book ideas yet, or what?! If you’re having an afternoon, outdoor or casual wedding, let your guests help you air out your dirty laundry, by displaying it!
“This alternative wedding guest book encouraged guests to “air out” the bride and groom’s dirty laundry. Instructions inscribed on a detergent bottle prompted guests to write funny stories about Lindsey & Brad on cards shaped like shirts, pants, socks, etc. Guests then clipped the cards to the “clothesline,” which
was strung at the reception entryway.” – Melangerie
If you love this idea but still want a more traditional guest book at your wedding, why not use this idea at your bridal shower instead? Or, have a little fun with it at a bachelorette party! Perhaps plan a “pre-party” at someone’s home before you leave for the big night out. I bet you could create some sort of neat game with this, as creative as you all are, right? Do you have any other ideas for this? If so, do share – we’d love to hear!
Thanks to the The Bridal Inquirer for sharing this neat idea with us. 🙂
