Don’t Leaf Me Behind…

with one comment

…Send Me With Love!

I remember Fall when I was little – my mom and I would collect any pretty leaves we’d find, then we’d press them between the pages of this really big Bible we had.  After a few days, we’d take them out.  My mom would put the leaves between two pieces of parchment paper (I think that’s what it was?) and iron the paper together so we could happily preserve the leaves we found and loved.

Sometimes the leaves would decorate the fridge, other times they would get lost.  But what if we had found a way to really show off those gorgeous fall leaves?  Such as sending in the mail in something like this:

Pocket Gift Cards From Katie Brown – set of 12:

“Create custom cards by slipping pressed flowers into the cellophane window. Matching envelopes included. Set includes brown, green and ivory paper. 4.5″ x 6.25”.

If you have similar childhood memories of leaf collecting, why not order this notecard set as a simple gift for mom on your wedding day (or any day)?   It’s a great way to remind her that you’ll always be her little girl as you bring back a little bit of sweet nostalgia.

Also, don’t forget to read about the Fun & Fabulous Giveaway that Kim Vallee is hosting, where you have a chance of winning the wonderful new book, “Katie Brown Celebrates“!  Simple and Spectacular Parties All Year Round, Katie will inspire you to host a party every month of the year.

You have until October 22, 2008 23:59 (11:59 PM) EST to enter.  Good luck!
