We Remember…

with 2 comments

I think it’s important we all stop what we’re doing today, and take a minute to say a pray and remember.

Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with those who were loved and lost.

  1. I completely agree. I posted a photo also on my site. Just like my grandmother will never forget what she was doing when Kennedy was killed, I will never forget what I was doing when I learned what happened. Truely a changing experience for ALL, unfortunately it was even worse for those families. Thank you for acknowledging the importance of today, so far I haven’t seen anyone else.

  2. I hear you, CurlySue. Such a sad tragic day it was…more than a day, really, as I remember being glued to the tv for weeks just waiting and hoping and praying to hear about survivors…to only find out there weren’t many. Awful. It’s nice you acknowledged the day too…

I also will never forget what I was doing when I found out – I was driving on my way into work when I heard the news…when the first plane hit. Then when I got to work I was really upset over it, and all we did all day was wait to find out what was going on…the phones were dead, nobody was calling in, no customers…the world literally just stopped.

God Bless those who risked their lives that day trying to save the others…
